EVENT CANCELED FOR 2011

Due to inclement and dangerous weather predicted for Saturday and out of deep respect for our many sponsors, exhibitors, musicians, volunteers, and activities coordinators, the Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival will be canceled for 2011.

While we deeply regret having to cancel the event, we are concerned for the welfare of all who will be attending due to thunderstorms and heavy winds predicted for the entire day. Additionally, we recognize that in this tight economic time, our exhibitor and sponsor money is not discretionary and can be utilized in many different and important ways. We want you to know how we sincerely respect and appreciate you and your willingness to educate the Central Pennsylvania community about the environment. While we would not let rain hold us back, wind and thunderstorms present another condition we take seriously.

We do hope that you will join us for our 2012 (5th Anniversary) event which will be bigger and better than ever. Please look for more information on the 2012 event coming in the next few months.

Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival is Central Pennsylvania's Green, Compassionate Living, Music-Filled, Family-Friendly, Earth Day Festival.We’re helping people learn what they can do for the Earth and its inhabitants.

The Mechanicsburg Earth Day Festival 2011 event will be held at the beautiful outdoor setting of downtown Mechanicsburg and the Trails and Trees Environmental Center in Mechanicsburg, PA. We welcome our attendees to a magnificent day filled with entertainment, education and enlightenment. The combination of great music, empowering speakers, environmental, humanitarian and animal welfare non-profits, kids' activities and a delicious food court make for an earth-friendly experience that is sure to be inspiring and enjoyable for all.
